Module 05 — The Module Library

Team & Culture Dynamics

High-performing teams do not happen by accident. They are built — through deliberate attention to trust, accountability, and the invisible patterns that either hold a team together or pull it apart.

What this module is about

Most teams are groups of capable individuals who have not yet learned to operate as a unit. They tolerate dysfunction, avoid conflict, and mistake politeness for alignment. This module changes that.

Drawing on Patrick Lencioni's Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team, Tuckman's team development model, and team typology work, participants gain a clear diagnostic of where their team currently is — and practical tools for building the trust, healthy conflict, commitment, and accountability that high performance requires.

In the Asia-Pacific context, this module pays special attention to the intersection of personality type and cultural background in shaping team dynamics — and offers specific strategies for building cohesion across these differences.

“Teamwork is not about everyone being the same. It is about everyone being clear — about roles, expectations, and the shared commitment that holds them together.”

This module is available as a standalone session or as part of any Confluence programme. It can be delivered in half-day, full-day, or residential formats depending on the depth required.
