Module 02 — The Module Library

Lead with Presence

Presence is not about charisma or performance. It is about the quality of attention you bring to any room — the settled, grounded authority that makes people want to follow you.

What this module is about

Executive presence is one of the most cited and least understood leadership qualities. Most leaders know they want more of it. Few know how to build it intentionally.

This module unpacks presence into its practical components: how you carry yourself physically, how you speak with authority and conviction, and how your personal leadership identity projects confidence and credibility. Crucially, we explore what authentic presence looks like across different cultural contexts — because what reads as confident in Berlin may read as arrogant in Bangkok.

Participants work with video reflection, peer feedback, and structured exercises to identify and shift the specific habits that undermine their presence — and to amplify the qualities that already make them compelling leaders.

“Presence is not about filling the room. It is about being fully in it.”

This module is available as a standalone session or as part of any Confluence programme. It can be delivered in half-day, full-day, or residential formats depending on the depth required.
