Leaders make hundreds of decisions every week. Most are good enough. Some are quietly shaped by cognitive shortcuts, social pressure, or the desire to avoid discomfort. A few are genuinely high-stakes — and those are the ones that require structured thinking.
This module combines behavioural economics, cognitive psychology, and practical decision frameworks to give participants a clear-eyed view of how decisions actually get made — and how to make them better.
We examine the most common cognitive biases that affect leaders in professional settings, explore structured frameworks for individual and group decision-making, and practise applying these tools to realistic leadership scenarios drawn from participants' own experience.
