Self-Awareness Leadership Development Cultural Intelligence MBTI Accredited Based in Asia · Working Globally

Self-knowledge is the starting point for anyone who wants to grow — whether they are a new supervisor finding their feet, a manager building their team, or a senior leader navigating complexity at scale.

For over 30 years, Georg has bridged cultures and unlocked potential worldwide — working with individuals, teams, and organisations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. Born German and a Thai citizen since 2021, he brings directness with flexibility: helping people at every level navigate complexity through genuine connection and deep cultural awareness.

His work is grounded in a simple belief: that meaningful growth — at any level — comes not from technique alone, but from self-understanding. When people know how they are wired, they communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and make better decisions. Georg has seen this hold true for individual contributors on the factory floor and for executives in the boardroom alike.

Georg currently serves as Chairman and Professional Director while maintaining an active coaching and facilitation practice globally. He brings the same curiosity and genuine interest in people to every engagement — whether it is a group of supervisors in a manufacturing plant or a cohort of senior leaders at a resort retreat.

Georg works with organisations across all levels — from individual contributors and first-line supervisors, through middle management, to senior and executive leaders. His work spans:

MBTI Assessment & Debrief — Individual and team personality assessments (Steps I & II) revealing strengths, blind spots, and communication preferences. Georg is one of Southeast Asia’s most experienced MBTI practitioners.

Leadership & Executive Coaching — One-on-one coaching for executives navigating complexity, transition, or the desire to lead more authentically. Integrates personality insights with coaching modalities from the NeuroLeadership Institute.

Team Effectiveness & Culture — Facilitating multicultural teams to build trust, improve communication, and align around shared purpose. Georg has worked with teams across industries and continents — from small operational units to large cross-functional groups spanning multiple countries.

Influence, Communication & Change — Workshops on positive influence, negotiation, change leadership, and vision & values alignment — delivered across industries and regions, from frontline supervisors learning to influence without authority to senior teams navigating organisational transformation.

“I meet people where they are — and facilitate the insight that moves them forward. The tools are frameworks. The real work is human.”

— Georg Trapp

Georg has engaged with participants from over 70 national cultures across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas — both in-person and virtually. His global reach is not incidental: it is the direct result of delivering programmes that work across cultural contexts, not just within them.

His multicultural fluency is not just biographical — it is methodological. He integrates GlobeSmart cultural intelligence frameworks into his facilitation, and his 30 years of living and working in Thailand give him unusually deep roots in Asian business culture. At the same time, his work with European, Middle Eastern, African, and North American audiences keeps that perspective genuinely global.

Georg starts from a single conviction: every person has something valuable to contribute. Rather than arriving with a diagnosis of what is wrong, he opens with curiosity about what is possible — meeting people exactly where they are. That orientation shapes everything from how he designs a workshop to how he listens in a one-on-one session.

Over 30 years he has developed an unusually integrative approach — drawing from personality psychology (MBTI), neuroscience-based coaching (NeuroLeadership Institute), systemic change theory (U.Lab, MIT), and the Immunity to Change framework, which reveals why people fail to change even when they genuinely want to. His work with the GNH Institute in Bhutan added another dimension: a model of development that goes beyond performance and asks what it means for people to genuinely flourish.

Practically, Georg listens at a level most facilitators do not reach. Trained in generative listening, he attends not just to what people say, but to what they are trying to say — and what they have not yet found words for. In multicultural rooms, that quality of attention is what allows real insight to emerge.

“I meet people on their own terms. The tools and frameworks are how we start the conversation — but the real work happens in the space between people.”
